Yes, surface preparation is critical for adhesion and corrosion resistance. The type of pretreatment depends on your substrate: steel, aluminum, or galvanized parts each require different processes. Ideally: the type of parts you are coating (profiles, panels, cabinets, etc.), the material (steel, aluminum, galvanized), approximate part dimensions, target throughput (parts per hour or per shift), available floor space, and preferred energy source (electric or gas). Photos of your current setup or sample parts are also helpful if you are upgrading an existing operation.
