Touchscreen Spray Gun
Recipe storage and full parameter control via touchscreen
The Touchscreen Spray Gun is an electrostatic powder gun controlled through a touchscreen interface, built around saving and recalling coating recipes for different parts. It suits operations that coat a range of part types and need each one sprayed to its own proven settings, recovered instantly across shifts and operators. If your shop runs varied work and loses consistency every time settings are re-entered by hand, this gun's recipe management is what keeps each part coated the same way every time it comes through.
Recipe save and recall
The defining feature is the ability to save and recall recipes per part type. An operator can store the kV, output, and other settings that produce a good finish on a given part, then recall that exact recipe whenever the part returns, on any shift. This removes the guesswork and re-tuning that varied production otherwise demands, and it transfers the knowledge of how to coat a part from an individual operator into the gun itself. For a plant running many part types, recipe recall is what makes consistent quality survive operator changes and shift handovers.
Touchscreen control and voltage
Control is through a touchscreen, with voltage adjustable across 0 to 100 kV. The touchscreen makes parameters visible and quick to set or confirm, so an operator can see at a glance what the gun is set to and switch between stored recipes without working through physical dials. Having the full 0 to 100 kV range available under touchscreen control means each recipe can specify the right charge for its part, from gentle voltage on recessed geometry to higher kV on flat open surfaces, and recall it exactly.
Transfer efficiency and nozzles
The gun reaches up to 85% transfer efficiency, so a high share of the powder sprayed adheres to the part rather than becoming overspray to reclaim. It uses quick-change flat and round nozzles, letting the operator switch spray patterns fast: a flat fan for broad surfaces, a round pattern for detail and recesses. Quick-change nozzles complement the recipe system, because changing parts often means changing both settings and spray pattern, and doing both quickly keeps changeover short. High transfer efficiency also keeps powder cost down across the varied runs this gun is built for.
Powder feed and automation
Powder is fed by injector or dense phase pump. Dense phase feed delivers powder in a denser, lower-velocity stream with less air, which can improve charging and reduce component wear compared with high-velocity venturi feed. The gun is also reciprocator compatible, so the same recipe-driven control can be used in an automated mounting rather than only by hand. That compatibility lets a shop start with the gun in manual use and move it onto a reciprocator as volume grows, carrying its stored recipes into automated production.
Where it fits in your line
The Touchscreen Spray Gun works as a manual gun in a powder booth or mounted on a reciprocator in an automated booth, with overspray captured by the booth's recovery system and returned for reuse. Parts should arrive cleaned and pretreated so the powder adheres before cure. After coating, parts move to a curing oven where the powder cross-links at the usual 180 to 200 C range. Because it shares the nozzle and hose platform of the Analog and Digital guns, it fits a standardized fleet on common consumables. Use this gun where part variety is high and recipe recall matters most: store a recipe per part, recall it across shifts, and pair its up-to-85% transfer efficiency with a booth whose color-change and reuse capabilities match your production mix.
