Powder Transfer Pump
8 kg/min powder delivery from box to feed center
The Powder Transfer Pump is a dense phase pump that moves powder between any two points in your powder circuit, delivering up to 8 kg/min (17.6 lbs/min), the highest rate among comparable pumps. It is a standalone transfer unit rather than a gun-feed device, so its job is to relocate powder, from a bulk box into a feed center, between containers, or from one station to another, quickly and without degrading it. When you need to keep a feed center topped up or shift powder around the line, the transfer pump is the component that does it.
Dense phase delivery
The pump uses dense phase technology, which moves powder as a slow-moving, high-density slug rather than blasting it through the hose at high velocity. Low velocity is the point. Conventional high-speed transfer batters the powder against hose walls and fittings, breaking down particles and shifting the particle-size distribution, which shows up later as inconsistent charging and uneven film build at the gun. Dense phase moves the powder gently, so what arrives at the destination is the same powder you started with.
Powder quality and particle-size consistency
Preserving powder quality is the reason to choose dense phase for transfer. By keeping velocity low and density high, the pump protects particle-size consistency, which is what drives predictable electrostatic charging and even coating. Powder that has not been ground down or sheared during transfer fluidizes more consistently and sprays more predictably, and it also keeps reclaimed powder closer to virgin condition so it can be reused with confidence. For any shop that cares about finish repeatability, gentle transfer protects the investment already made in the powder itself.
Delivery rate
At up to 8 kg/min (17.6 lbs/min), the Powder Transfer Pump offers the highest rate among comparable pumps, so it keeps up with demanding feed and refill duties without becoming the slow step. A high transfer rate matters most when you are charging containers or feeding a busy line between colors, where waiting on powder movement would stall the changeover. The combination of dense phase gentleness and a high delivery rate means you do not trade powder quality for speed: you get both in one unit.
Configuration
The pump comes in a cart and lance configuration, so it is mobile and can be brought to wherever powder needs to move. The lance draws powder from a box or container, and the cart lets one unit serve several points around the line rather than being fixed to a single station. That flexibility makes it a practical shared resource in a shop with multiple booths or feed centers, deployed where the refill demand is at any given moment.
Where it fits in your line
The Powder Transfer Pump works alongside any of the PM feed centers, keeping the PM1 fixed container, the PM2 color containers, or the PM3 closed cycle charged from bulk boxes. It sits upstream of the feed center as the powder-handling link between bulk supply and the booth, and because it can move powder between any two points in the circuit, it is equally useful for reorganizing powder around the line or topping up a reclaim system. Wherever powder needs to travel without losing quality, the transfer pump is the standalone unit that handles it.
